About Me

Hi! I’m Jaret, a Business-Accounting student at Montana State University, where I hold a 4.00 GPA. Before college, I graduated as valedictorian of my high school class. I’ve always loved learning new ideas and breaking them down so they finally “click” for others.

I tutor math up to the high school level, business, accounting, and high school history and geography for 3rd–8th graders, high school students, and college students in business courses. Even though I’m new to formal tutoring, I’ve long been the “go-to” person for classmates, friends, and family who need help. Seeing someone move from confusion to confidence is one of my favorite parts of teaching.

My style is patient, hands-on, and rooted in real-world examples. I don’t rush or move on just because we’ve “covered” a topic. I slow down, ask questions, and check in often to make sure you truly understand. I like to connect concepts to everyday situations—budgeting in accounting, real businesses in economics, or practical scenarios in math—so the material feels useful, not just something to memorize.

In our sessions, you’ll get plenty of chances to practice and show what you know. I believe real learning happens when you can explain an idea in your own words and apply it to new problems. I’ll guide you step by step at first, then gradually give you more independence so you can build real confidence.

I tutor online, which makes it easier to fit sessions around busy school, sports, and family schedules. Whether you’re trying to raise a grade, prepare for a big exam, or stop feeling lost in class, I’m excited to work with you and help you reach your goals.
